Fill the lower globe with water through the hole in the body up to the visible shoulder of the glass. Attach the top globe and turn until just snug. Add material to your smoking bowl. Rotate the unit almost all the way and then ignite your material. When water starts to drain, smoke will be pulled into the top globe. When all water has drained, pull from the unit or rotate again to have the smoke pushed out for a contactless experience.
How Do I Fill My Stündenglass With Water?
Remove the top globe by turning it counterclockwise. Pour water through the body into the bottom globe until it reaches the top of the visible glass. Replace the top globe by threading it clockwise until snug. Note: Do not remove the bottom globe from the bottom side when filled with water to avoid spills.
How Do I Clean My Stündenglass?
The only recommended cleaning method is using isopropyl alcohol and water. Gently swab inner parts with a soft cloth soaked in ISO. For a Quick Clean: Remove the top globe, empty the water, and add ½-1 inch of alcohol. Reattach the globe and rotate numerous times. Drain, rinse with water, and clean the magnetic adapter and valve plugs separately.
How Do I Deep Clean My Stündenglass?
Empty the water and remove both globes from the top side. Unscrew each upstem counterclockwise. Use the included Hex Head Allen key to remove the mouthpiece elbow, then pull the body off the valve. Clean all individual parts with isopropyl alcohol, replace seals if necessary, and reassemble ensuring the outlet hole faces the mouthpiece side.
What Do I Do If My Globe Is Stuck?
If the collar turns, ensure the rubber collars are seated flush in the groove. If the globe is stuck to the collar, place the unit on the floor for stability and use both hands to turn. If it remains stuck, pour isopropyl alcohol into the unit and rotate, pausing at the "1 o’clock" position for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to break up any residue between the globe and collar.
What Can I Do If The Unit Is Difficult To Rotate?
If rotation becomes difficult, clean the unit immediately using the Quick Clean method. This is usually caused by material buildup on the internal valve seals. Failure to clean regularly can result in torn seals, which will require a maintenance kit to repair.
