High Times
Discover our exclusive High Times collection, featuring premium bongs, vaporizers, and smoking accessories that embody cannabis culture.
The magazine was founded by Tom Forçade, a notable figure in the underground press movement. Initially, High Times was intended as a one-off parody of Playboy, substituting cannabis for the central theme. However, the first issue, released in the summer of 1974, became a massive hit, quickly selling out its initial print run of 10,000 copies and necessitating multiple reprints.
In the late 1980s, under the editorial direction of Steven Hager, High Times shifted its focus to emphasize the personal cultivation of cannabis and the environmental benefits of hemp. Hager also introduced events like the Cannabis Cup, an annual cannabis awards ceremony held in Amsterdam, further solidifying the magazine's influence in cannabis culture.
