Will this work with the Peak Pro 3DXL, New Peak, Old Peak, and Old Peak Pro?
No. The Davinci EQ Electric Quartz is an independent standalone e-rig ecosystem built around DaVinci's proprietary glass-on-glass mounting connection, quartz crucible, and zirconia airpath. It is not compatible with Puffco Peak devices, including the Original Peak (Old Peak), Peak Pro (Old Peak Pro), New Peak, or the Peak Pro with 3DXL chamber, nor is it cross-compatible with Puffco Proxy modular glassware.
Why is a quartz crucible superior to standard ceramic heating chambers?
Most e-rigs use ceramic chambers which are microscopically porous, absorbing residual oils over time and introducing a persistent background flavor into future sessions. The pure quartz crucible in the DaVinci EQ is completely non-porous and chemically inert, ensuring that what you load is 100% of what you taste without burnt flavor retention or material interference.
How much water should I put in the 60ml Jacuzzi Bubbler?
Always detach the Jacuzzi Bubbler completely from the EQ base before adding water to prevent liquid from touching the electronic base. Fill the bubbler approximately halfway (around 30ml of filtered or distilled water). This leaves plenty of headspace for bubbling diffusion and thermal cooling while preventing water splashback into the mouthpiece or down into the heating element.
What is the difference between Precision Mode and Smart Path™ Mode?
Precision Mode allows you to lock the device into a single fixed temperature between 450°F and 650°F for steady, uniform vapor. Smart Path™ Mode uses pre-programmed temperature ramps that gradually increase the heat across your session, allowing lighter, volatile terpenes to vaporize at lower temps before finishing with dense vapor production at higher temps.
