How is this different from the Egg Attachment?

The Hemisphere focuses on Airflow and Stealth. It has a very open draw (little resistance) and is shorter. The Egg focuses on Water Filtration and Flavor, offering a tighter, "chuggy" draw with more resistance.

Does it use water?

Yes. Despite its small size, it is still a water attachment. It uses a minimal amount of water to cool the vapor without creating drag.
